The Express Customs Clearance Service is a web based solution providing the following, while the cargo is still in transit / prior to arrival:

- Online filing of the Customs Declaration;
- Online assessment of duty and tax based on the declaration;
- Online payment of duty and tax;
- Online release;

Upon arrival, the shipment is transferred by the airline to the ECCF warehouse, where it undergoes x-ray procedures or physical inspection by a customs examiner. Thereafter, the shipment is released.
